Modern fashion apparel store interior design by BDF Display — a complete retail fit-out project combining custom clothing racks, display tables, and lighting design.
Project Overview
This project involved the full interior design of a 1,200 sq ft fashion boutique. The client needed a layout that maximized hanging capacity while maintaining an airy, premium feel. We designed a layout featuring gold-finish single-rail racks along both walls, a central round display table for folded merchandise, and a dedicated fitting room zone with flattering warm lighting.
Fixture Specifications
- Wall displays: Custom gold-finish single-rail racks with integrated shelving
- Center floor: Round wooden display table, 48″ diameter
- Fitting rooms: Three curtained stalls with full-length mirrors and 500-lux task lighting
- Checkout counter: Warm oak-finish cash wrap with under-counter storage
Design Philosophy
The space was zoned into four areas: entrance decompression zone, main browsing area, fitting zone, and checkout. This layout follows proven retail psychology — customers naturally move from entrance to browsing to trying to buying. The open sightline from the storefront window to the back wall creates a sense of spaciousness that invites customers in.
Materials
- Fixture finish: Brushed gold PVD coating
- Flooring: Light oak engineered wood
- Lighting: 3,000K warm LED track system with adjustable spotlights
